Login to My Account. You should now see a My Subscriptions panel with a line for each of your listings. New orders will have a Create Listing button under the Listings column, whereas existing listings will later say View Listing. Create Listing will take you directly to a blank Property Editor page.
View Listing will take you to your listing on the site where you'll see an Edit Listing button on the right side. Click Edit Listing to access the Property Editor.
My Med Housing offers three property listing types: Standard, a single address unit and two Multiple Unit Address options for condos, duplexes - up to 5 and up to 20 respectively. You can Upgrade or Downgrade depending on your listing need, at any time.
To Upgrade or Downgrade, manage the subscription you want to edit by going to My Account > Manage Subscription (under My Subscriptions). Once on the Manage Subscription page, you'll see the Subscription Totals panel with a button to Upgrade or Downgrade.
From there you'll be take to our List a Place page where you can pick your adjusted Listing Type.
Proceed through the Checkout accordingly and your Subscription will be updated without affecting your Listing.
Important Note: Cancelling DOES NOT remove your listing immediately. A cancelled subscription will continue to run until your next renewal date. If you want to hide your Listing immediately, go to View Listing > Edit Property and set your listing to Private at the bottom.
Go to My Account and click on My Listing if you don't see the Subscriptions Panel underneath. Under My Subscriptions you'll see your listings. Click on Manage Subscription.
On the Manage Subscription page, you'll see the Actions row. You'll find the Cancel button there.
Don't panic. There's typically some explanation to where your listing is. Here are the most common scenarios:
- Your listing type or region was set wrong. You may have meant it "To Rent" but set it "To Own" or for the region of "Downtown" but it is "East Side". To verify your listing settings, login to My Account. There you'll see My Subscriptions. Click View Listing and then go to Edit Property. Once on the Property Editor, review all your listing settings are correct and then Update Property.
- Your Publishing Status is set to Private. Note: this is the default publishing status when orders are received. This is intentional as we want to give Subscribers any time they need to edit their property listing and decide when to go live. If you meant to go live, make sure your Publishing Status is set to Published. To do so, login to My Account. There you'll see My Subscriptions. Click View Listing and then go to Edit Property. Once on the Property Editor, scroll to the bottom of the page. There you'll see the Publishing Status options. Set yours to Published and then Update Property.
- Your account is suspended for non-payment. To verify your subscription status, login to My Account. There you'll see My Subscriptions. In the Listings column, if it reads "Your listing is pending or inactive.", this is most likely due to a payment issue. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to correct any payment details and we'll be able to help reactivate your listing. Please note, if a listing has gone unpaid for an extended period of time, listings are subject to system removal and would therefore need recreated. We do our best to inform all customers prior to deleting old, expired and cancelled listings.
LEGACY FAQ (subscriptions created before Feb. 22nd 2016)
If you need to change your posting in any way email email@example.com with the specific changes. PLEASE put your listing title in email as well to make sure there is no confusion as well as any changes you would like. These may take a business day to get through, but I do my best to get them done quickly
Hopefully you are taking your posting down because your place has rented or sold. To remove your post: 1) log on to PayPal and cancel your payment profile with mymedhousing.com. If you have trouble the number for PayPal is listed above. You and I will both get an email confirming your cancellation. If you do not receive the email then you have not successfully canceled the subscription. 2) You will also need to contact me to take your posting down. Please reference your property by listing title or address. If you have canceled the PayPal subscription but still have time you have paid for please instruct me in the email to leave your property up until the specified date. For example: You started your subscription on March 15th and you cancel on April 20th but have not yet rented it out, please email me that you want the posting down on May 15th.
When you complete the Paypal information during the posting process you will be billed one month from your start date until you cancel the subscription. Paypal is responsible for the billing. I do not initiate the billing. If you posted your property on April 10th you will be billed immediately and again on May 9th. You may be billed first thing in the morning so if you do not want to be billed for another month make sure to cancel in time. I do not issue refunds for payments unless there has been an error in service.
